These bag dispensers are so doggone useful and I've often thought that I should examine mine and try to duplicate it. Mine was made and given to me by an elderly relative who passed away before I had a chance to get directions and/or a pattern from her but Sew Yeah came through for me so thank you sincerely!

Thanks Louie. Sorry to hear about your relative. Hope your project turns out great. Take care, Brody and Teancum

Your easy to follow video is the only one that I found that had instructions to make the plastic bag holder/dispenser with a lining & using a french seam, for no raw edges, which I really wanted to make. I've made a few now as gifts, and they look so much more finished than the unlined dispensers. I'd like to suggest that you add "Lined", "no raw edges", "french seam" & even "Reversible" in your description. Mentioning any of those words, or all, would certainly set your video apart from the others. Thanks

Aaaah so Quick and Easy😃😍 Will sew this weekend for me and need to shop for fabrics to sew one for my daughters kitchen😊😍 Thank you so much 😊

Thank you! Just what I was looking for. Love the idea of the French seams, raw edges drive my crazy. Here’s an idea for the handle that I am going to try….use another piece of elastic and make a ‘scrunchy’ to fit different size door knobs and/or hooks 🙂

Maybe if you used French seams you wouldn't need to line it. Except of course if you're looking to add some stability. Great project and I love the use of the elastic! Good job 👍

to make putting in elastic easier ,cut each piece of the elastic a couple of inches longer,,, this way it can stick it out an inch on each of the of the sides for easier excursion , then cut off the excess after sewing,,, hope this is helpful
