Love the thought that went into the build -- rough pieces installed and trimmed flush afterwards makes it easier!

Very neat stool, and plans (Good explanatory video too) This could be enlarged for a small (Bistro) table, easy to take to a picnic. Thanks again for another great idea and video.

Always awesome to see a video notification in my inbox. Cool build. I love that it folds up and the legs store in a pocket. Great little stool for around a campfire.

This reminds me of the stool Swiss cow milkers walk(ed) around with. Although theirs have one central peg and they essentially use their own legs to stay balanced. I guess that makes it easier to reach the utters...

When tear-out is likely to happen on a paper template you should put clear packing tape on it. Also overlapping the tape underneath just a tiny bit starting from left to right (or vice versa) makes it easy to remove all the tape at once when you pull on the left side. It picks up the next layer which picks up the next one and so on.

Hey Izzy - you need to learn about E6000, a styrene based adhesive that's just about the stickiest substance I've ever encountered. Applied properly and allowed to cure it's very strong but yet still a slight bit resilient and it would have been perfect for attaching that strap without fasteners. It's also great for making finished edges on canvas with no stitching required.

I have always wanted to know whether to cut on the line or outside of it, since it seems like the blade always cuts away about 1/8". Thank you so much for clarifying that!
@skysoldier317 жыл бұрын
Heismyrock3 It depends how you trace your line in the first place. If you draw on the measurement, inside, or outside your measurement.
@JoDidntHearYou7 жыл бұрын
Frederick Beaudoin that also makes sense too. Thank you for reminding me it's also about the measure marking too!

Great build Izzy! Question for you...do you find it easier to control a corded or cordless jigsaw? I am sure this is a crazy question but I have a cordless model and I have used friends corded models and seem to make higher quality cuts with the corded version...not sure why. Also wondering if a barrel grip like the one you use is easier to get quality with than the handled versions? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Enjoy your work and your videos. Keep them coming.
