The interesting part is that the record I hit was going uphill at 42km/h. I didn't feel compfy going faster with only the jeans as protective gear. But what is interesting that the acceleration really starts at around 20km/h

unfortunately yes. I didn't know they doubled in price. I think the bike would also work fine with only one motor

@@bitluni actually my question was a sanity check question just to make sure that there is no way to wire-up 2 motors to 1 esc. the price of the esc isn't a deal-breaker though it doesn't look fair to surpass the price of a 1kw motor with the tire.. my ultimate question is: has anyone created a elegant DIY scooter that he uses everyday? the hardest part to create is the chassis. who is the target group for those parts? creating a chassis on top of the electronics looks a bit too much for a hobbyist. are those parts intended for modifying a retail scooter?

@@bitluni It was converted from a terrible gas powered bike. I don't remember if I still have it, but it ran a 1HP 36v PMDC motor. I still have a Razor pocket bike with the 24v motor and mountain bike disc brake I added to the rear wheel.
