So I need two of these! As a kit!! If someone previously mentioned, this is gold. As a complete build available for sale, or as a full-blown kit that includes all the necessary parts, hardware, and pre-cut boards, etc.... I'm dead serious. This is impeccable! I'm trying to get my 11 year old interested in anything other than stupid console video games. And I swear something like this is just what I need for us. Fantastic work my man!!!

@DTeK
@DTeK 5 ай бұрын
Thanks, i build it to be portable but the speaker compartments are pretty close to the ideal size for a sealed box with 4 inch speakers like this one, its also a budget build, i used a simple 2 way crossfire on each speaker, the sound equalization output can also be adjusted in the dsp settings in the radio, in my opinion it sounds great, for even bigger bass output it needed to be ported but with 4 speakers the box size would be much bigger, this small speakers are pretty good, they will sound great on a ported box

@@DTeK nice you need to think about music being equally balanced rather than too much bass. many people do set things with extra bass, to me it doesn't sound that great. dont get me wrong I play, guitar, Bass guitar, and ukulele. so I have an idea on this. having to much booming bass, you cant hear the vocals, and other instruments that well. Fun build! You should consider using ferrules on the bare ends of wire into terminals rather than slathering everything in hot glue!! Easier and less messy if you ever need to swap anything out. Less chance of a bad connections too.

If you have worked on any modern electronics, you will see that it is a common practice, and yes it is a pain to remove

@@davidhamm5626 just because it is common practice doesn’t mean it is a good one. Typically it is done as a cost saving measure to avoid using ferrules plus keep the wiring in place during transit.
