Nice set up, if you get a chance and want to, add 2 to 4 more batteries. You can also run another inverter at the same time, if need be. And no lithium batteries will not survive an EMP.

Thanks. We actually used it recently for a few hours when Edison cut the power due to a windstorm. It worked great.

Indeed , EMP / CME /GIC ECT.. and the elektrical components ( read BMS ) are freid and to at bad luck with much more bad luck these lithium batterys can have a thermal runaway with hours of fires that you cant put out becaus of the chemicals in it . When i was looking in to a system i was always hesitant because these EV's that burnt to the grond and / or exploded , so no lithium for me .

Some lithium batteries will charge faster than lead acid batteries. An inverter generator would use less gas to charge lithium vs wasteful slower charging the other types. Nice for being on the cheap though. Lacking for me i want something to at least power a microwave. It would be an 2000 watt pure sinewave inverter with 200 ah 12 volt lithium lifepo4 battery. Solar mppt controller.

If I was discharging and recharging this a lot I would have gone with the lithium but I have the batteries on battery maintainer so they should last a good while because I'm only gonna use this 1 or 2 times a year. I'm only using it to power the fridge and chest freezer so the 1000 watt (2000w surge) inverter is plenty, but not for a microwave that you may use. Thanks for watching.

So you spent $240 for 210ah@12v for 105ah of usable capacity when you could have gotten a good 100ah LFP for $250(many brands at this price). OK
