Hey! 1. Use a peeler to make soap shavings. OR add scented oils to any drying leaves/botanicals... OR if you just want your house to smell nice, you can gather good-smelling stuff from the kitchen like cinnamon/nutmeg, put them into a saucepan and add water. Bring the water to a boil, then turn the heat to low and continually stir your mixture over low heat -- the scent will follow the evaporating water throughout the house! Hope that helps!

Hi!! Potpourri is dried petals, usually from flowers. And those petals are mixed with oils or spices in order to make them smell really, really good for a really, really long time! You can make your own or buy it in a store.

Hey! It's because the petals naturally lose their scent the more they dry out... grab some essential oils or a nice fragrance/perfume and re-apply to your petals with an eyedropper, spray bottle, etc. Hope this helps!

x-acto knife from Michael's or I got it at Kit Kraft, my local craft store. Or Jo-Ann's Fabrics. Or maybe even Home Depot or something like that... Mesh you can also get at a home improvement store. I had a hard time finding it myself, though Michael's usually has it.

my friend once did close to the same thing. i gave her a blueberry muffin for breakfast, and she left it in her locker by accident (never opening it) and didn't take it out all year long. her locker smelled really REALLY good... like breakfast...

Oh I see. Everything you use will have its smell fade with time. Your best bet is simple things like cinnamon sticks, cedar chips, whole cloves, the more natural the better chance of scent staying. Lavender, even dried orange peels... or herbs like thyme or basil?
