Did you polish the new vehicle first or just clean? I want it looking its best, but if it's more wasted effort Polishing an already new vehicle, if it doesn't make a difference under that ppf? And the fact that it would keep me from having that much more chance of something that could possibly keep it from having the best adhesion. Do you recommend a full polish if the car is new or just a good deep cleaning for best results?

It can never hurt to polish the paint prior to a PPF install if you want the peace of mind knowing your paint under the film is in perfect condition. However, PPF acts as a band aid and hides light scratches and swirl marks quite well. Very seldomly have we polished a vehicle prior to a PPF install. Not worth it in my opinion.

Nicely done. How did you go with the tailgate? It took me a couple tries to get it laid in one piece. Hopefully there's a better way to do it xD

No. You will need an enclosed environment for best results.
