Hi Guys,
In this video we are going to see how to make rain detector (rain alarm) at home.
*This rain detector will give the alarm when it is raining.
Components Used here is :
1.Battery : 9V
2.ON / OFF switch
3.Transistor : BC 547
4.Buzzer (Active) - 5V
5.LED - (optional)
6.Blades -2
7.Connecting wires
Working Principle :
The main component of this circuit is a BC547 transistor that is working as a switch in this circuit.The blades act as a sensor.To make this project cheap, and to do all kind of people I have used blades as sensor.Otherwise we can use rain sensor instead of blades.
The blades are sensitive to raindrops. When the water droplets fall onto the blades(sensor) it turns the circuit ON as water is a great conductor of the electricity. Now the voltage will be passed to the transistor and it receives its required 9V. This will activate the transistor which results in activating the buzzer connected to it.
The buzzer acts as an alarm in this circuit and it will let the user know about rain.
*While making this circuit make sure that the gap between 2 blades are not more than 2mm, to get better performance.
Applications and Uses:

A rain sensor alarm is a very useful device to alert when it is raining. It can be used in several areas and places where the user wants to be alerted the moment a single raindrop falls.

@@sobanahmed8739 Hi If the water makes the contact between two blades then only the circuit will get closed and the alarm will get ON.To do so keep the distance between two blades are not more than 2mm .Less the distance quick the response and also check with tap water.Not RO water.Thank you

Sir it's not working ,circuit is complete but It works when the two blades are connected not when water is droped

Hi Pls make sure the gap between two blades are not more than 2mm to get better performance. After that you can pour the water.The gap should be filled with water and water should touch the blades .Because the water will make the circuit closed.Closed circuit only will pass the current.Try it and let me know.Thank you
