On the pockets, did you iron on the interface to the pocket?

I’ve seen shorts for a version where the opening is where the zipper goes and gets stuffed before it’s closed but I’m wondering if it’s just as complicating (as someone who has never sewn but wants to make a puffer vest out of a jersey). Can pockets be added to a version where the vest is stuffed instead of sewn with batting?

It is possible I’m sure there’s a Tutorial out there about how you can go about it Both are complicated. I just prefers my method coz it’s easier for me to get batting than it is to get stuffing
