I'm guessing it's the peg-bed sewing machine? They're used for shoes and also for handbags etc, with the tight corners and tolerances. I'd really love to add one to my studio outfit one day!

Holy frick noodles! Had no idea hat making like this was still a thing. obviously there are hats out there, but having a small shop, doing custom ones. Nobody wears hats around here like people used to wear hats. Where every door had a hat stand right next to it lol. Wish we could bring back horses and trains too. And like communities, where people knew each other...like the local hat maker.

I remember my Pop's took me and my younger brother to a hat shop in San Francisco California where the owner made us newspaper caps like this. My brother past away i still have his cap hanging in my room to this day over 35 year's ago
