This is the best one I’ve seen!! Great job. I have a question tho. I bought the lights from the link and I can’t get them to stay on the “flowing” green. They keep cycling through all the colors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@IceHausDogTraining4 ай бұрын
I have recently had a couple of people tell me that. Those are the lights I used. These companies sometimes make small changes to their products and that is the only thing I can think of that might be an issue… The way I did it was to turn them onto the green solid and then play with the other features until I found what I wanted. They have a memory so once you find what you want they will stay there the next time they are turned on. They have a lot of functionality to go through though.

Great job I’m getting ready to make my own and your description works out just perfect. I had one question the spray paint can is that a dark green or a light green or is it a neon green color? Let me know. Thank you very much.
@IceHausDogTraining3 ай бұрын
It is a fluorescent green, not sure if it said neon or not but definitely that lighter color and must say fluorescent so it will react with the black light. Good luck on your prop build!

Hi. This is soooo awesome! Im making one this weekend!! I noticed the pump you used comes with 4 different nozzles. Which size did you use and what size tubing? Did you just use aquarium tubing?
@IceHausDogTraining4 ай бұрын
I’m pretty sure it ended up being 1/2 inch tubing. It may be 3/4 depending on what skeleton you have though. I used the largest that I could fit in the skeleton. I got the tubing at the local hardware store but it’s very similar if not the same as aquarium tubing. You can probably find it on Amazon as well. Good luck and thank you for watching!

This is amazing. My husband and I love Halloween and decorate every year. We really want to try this. I have one question. The lights that you bought, were they 200 LED lights and 66ft? Thanks. Keep up the amazing work!
@IceHausDogTraining3 ай бұрын
They were the lights that are linked but I know a few people recently have had a problem getting them to remain on the breathing green mode. That is why I linked some alternatives but as far as whether they were 100 or 200 I haven’t counted since they were under the foam but 200 is what shows in my purchase history so I think they are the 200 version. You would have enough with either one though because I remember double covering a lot of space to use the whole string of lights up.

@MarcusGross-kg5jt4 ай бұрын
I haven't tried it, but I saw a video where he just tossed hilighters into the water
@IceHausDogTraining4 ай бұрын
@MarcusGross-kg5jt It’s definitely possible because highlighters will glow under black light. It may take a lot of them to dye that much water with that intensity though. 1 gallon of tracer dye is enough for me to use for the next 50 years 😂 a little goes a long way.

@IceHausDogTraining4 ай бұрын
@Schick2583 I double checked and those are definitely the lights I used under the foam. They have a lot of different modes and functions though and you do have to run through the functions quite a bit to find what is just right. I remember it taking me a while to get it exactly like I wanted it.
@Schick25834 ай бұрын
@@IceHausDogTraining was it the 200 count with the remote? I spent almost an hour on them, every time I pushed the button on the remote to have it do an effect it either changed the color right away or cycled through the colors. Thanks for the quick replies, I appreciate it.
@IceHausDogTraining4 ай бұрын
@@Schick2583 Okay I just checked again and in the video at about the 7:35 mark I go through a couple of options. I didn't show the remote regrettably. I do remember though that I had to set them to the color I wanted first and then the function. For example if you wanted green you would set them to the solid color you want and then start messing with the functions like fade, or I think some of the remotes say breathing, or flash etc... you should also be able to adjust the speed and brightness. Those lights do almost too much stuff which I'm guessing is the problem you're having. The good news is they also have a memory function so when and if you finally get them where you want them they will stay wherever you leave them when they are turned off. At least that's how they work for me anyway. Hope that helps, good luck with the build!

What diameter hose did you go with?
@IceHausDogTraining5 ай бұрын
I’m pretty sure it ended up being 3/4 inch or 1/2, definitely not larger because I ended up going to get hose twice due to buying too large of one the first time. It’s gonna depend on your skeleton as to what it will allow but I’d go smaller rather than larger if I was guessing.
