I seen some adding a clear hose to the out pipe using a tee, then run and tie the hose beside the tote. remember to cap the top.

Only this I would say is that flex pipe will grow algae. I will show everyone in my water catchment video. I did the same thing with the flex . Other then that great set up. Do you have an overflow?

We do have an overflow - Tried to think of everything... forgot about the flex pipe. We are also going to install a down pipe in front of everything to filter out additional debris - this will be a good time to tackle the flex pipe issue - thanks!

Does the water get 🔥 hot in the black tank

It gets warm, but ours isn't in direct sunlight so it isn't an issue. The bigger issue is algae growth if they weren't painted. Under direct sunlight they would get hot. Appreciate you stopping by 😊
