Good catch on the gasket deteriorating that could have caused a lot of issues including the stumble issue

Sounds and runs good buddy. I think you'll find you need a little more timing. I wouldn't run any less than 36 in it. I have mine locked at 38 on the street with mine it's quite noticeable between running 36 and 38. And for the hell of it try a tad bit less pump shot . I've been having fun trying to figure out this tighter converter deal too. I found that tge tighter converter has my motor lugged down alot farther in the rpm that it could lnt gain rpm enough to handle tge bigger pump shot

Hey Michigan. Good video. It sounds like you have a full calendar this summer. I hear yeah when you say it costs a mint to have a hobby like we have. It seems like carburetors are your experience, but you also know engines. I have an oil blowback problem with my Fargo. I don't know if you saw my video on it, but I have engine oil blowing back out of my dipstick. Plus when I come to a stop, my oil pressure drops down to almost zero. My engine is a Chevy 307 small block. If you could send me any advice, it would help. I did notice that you have 2 breathers on the valve covers. Would that help me? Thanks Buddy.

Hi Herb, I sent you a link to an article on 02 sensor readings in Gmail. It makes sense to me but I am not an 02 sensor expert. Take car sir

Hmmm.... I guess you're not running a wideband 02 sensor so this article means nothing to you 😅

Study up more on how a power valve works, unless you have a tiny camshaft your going the wrong direction. Set your timing, and idle mixture where it idles best at that time hook up a vacuum gauge. Manifold vacuum not timed ported vacuum. What ever your reading is at idle you put a PV that is HALF that. Example, if your idle vacuum is around 9 inches put the 4.5 back in. If it's 20+ inches put in a 10.5. Hope this helps

in gear it's got 5.5 inch of vacuum this is the hardest carb i've own in the last 30 years to tune, thanks for watching ✌️👍
