Easy how to DIY: Replacing the center console cover on a 2002-2005 Dodge Ram. Tools: #2 Phillips screw driver, flat head screw driver, staple gun with 1/4" deep staples and sharp scissors.

Looks great! I bought the identical piece of material from Amazon for my 03 Ram 1500 and your lid looks identical to mine. The only thing I would do differently, based on other videos I've watched, is that to remove the existing cover it's best to cut it off on the top, remove the foam, then you can release the clips instead of prying the plastic piece off from the bottom. Doing it that way you are less likely to break off the clips.

Only thing that i would say is to start with the Front to line up the stitching line's with the edges and round over part..then pull it all tight in the Rear... But Thank's .. Gives me a good idea and starting point of what's all involved in replacing the cover...

@figsoutside1981 it worked great..lined up the Front..stapled it..then pulled it tight...and popped the back in with a Puddy knife...

Super easy to follow along this video. I broke two rear small clips near the hinge, but it didn't affect anything. It stretched out great, lined up perfectly and looks Factory
