Thank you for watching e10 says display communication reception error. Check display quick plug. You might have bent a pin. Check that check the connection area for any bent pins

Hi. One cable goes to the goes to the display and the other is to the on and off button should be connected to the cable that has the green seal on it.

The controller should be connected to the new display already and comes down into one plug. Did you already remove the old display and and the display controller?

I just got my Lectric Ebike yesterday it arrived with a shattered screen as well. Shipping can be rough! But I talked to them at Lectric and sent the pictures via email and it will be covered in the warranty. This video will help with replacing it.

Hmmm. Plug in the old one see if it turns on. If not make sure all connections are right. Also open up the bike and make sure you did not bend any of the pins

you unwrapped the switch assy when taking it off, but did not wrap it around the handle bar when reinstalling. why?

We did put it back the way it came originally, though I think when we hooked it up the first time in the video we put it the wrong way around the handlebar. Then we rerouted it after, but I guess didn’t explain that in the video, if I remember right.

My son just received his xp 2.0 and his LCD was smashed, too. Customer support was useless! They did NOTHING to make this right. We're trying to find a third-party replacement display. Until then, he has a $1000.00 paperweight.

What did they say? Did you send them photos? Also try calling them back. When I got mine it was broken as well. Before I got off the phone they where sending me a new one. Can you send me a photo of the screen?

When he finally got through, he gave his information and they said(my son's paraphrase)"they are sorry, but they are busy right now. They would get back to him." That was late last week. My son said he would try them again today. I'll see if he made any headway when he gets off work. We've been looking for a replacement on Ebay and Amazon. No luck yet. Thank you for your concern.

If/when they make things right, I will delete this thread. Because of all the hassle it took to get this far, I won't leave a good comment. But, if they make it right, I won't leave this up to make them appear incompetent. This may have been a one in a million situation. I wouldn't consider it fair to leave this up.
