Can we really ask for more from a starter motor? Mine will be replaced this week as well (Tdi 2010) after 350,000 km.. Simply good car.

Everytime I start my Vw Jetta TDI 2013. I feel some medal grinding I believe underneath me or aside of me. Idk if it’s the starter or have you dealt with a situation like this and might know what it is?

Can I jump this starter from underneath to get key fob to unlock doors, battery is dead, emergency key on drivers door doesn’t unlock. Totally stuck atm….. help arghhhhh 😢

Connect jump pack or second bartery if starter crank faster you got Ur answer.

same thing with me my battery is at 75%, “good life” according to autozone battery test and slow cranks ima replace the starter hopefully it’s that and not the battery hahaha

@@NyctophiliaOfficial it has been while ago , sold that car already 😁 but my starter motor was gone , when you replace it do not take off clutch hose ! 😁

@@NyctophiliaOfficial there is clutch fluid bleeding hose do not take it off unless you want to bleed it yourself later which gonna take ages and I couldn’t do it myself

My car cranks no start but doesnt slowly crank it cranks good just doesnt start checked battery tried jumping changed glow plugs changed glow plug control module relay still nothing

I don’t think I’ve ever let my glow plugs cycle in the 5 years I’ve had my tdi. It’ll start with out them. Sounds like inj pump or inj. If you can get a reader on it that’s not basic. Vdx is great but there are plenty of WiFi/bluetooth readers that can run vdx program.

Also was just thinking about it. When I put my lift pump back on I didn’t plug the control in all the way. It didn’t start but would crank all day without epc light coming on.

I must be the only one trying to find out how to disconnect Sh** just to GET to the starter. I'm very impressed with the speed, however. It took me 1 entire day to get the air filter and battery tray out.😂
