Also, I would love to make a shaker/floating/waterfall sand/glitter pen, but can’t figure out how to make a hollow molded section for the liquid and glitter. If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them. In theory, I know what needs to happen, with the layering of sections, but don’t know how to create a mold to get that effect. Thanks! ❤

Thank you! Depending on the molds you can do lots just by cutting the pieces. I also use our aurora tubes

Beautiful pen! Thanks so much for the video! I made nearly a dozen last night using uv resin, but honestly I was not impressed with the uv resin or the uv resin kit itself. It was my first time using it. Idk if the amazon seller lied about the wattage on the nail light or watt, but I’ve had much better results using 2 part epoxy for my acrylic stuff. I’ve always used alumilite tho bc it’s fda approved (I usually make tumblers, jewelry, those disposable type pens- stuff my kids & grands might put in their mouths lol) I’ve never used the brand you mentioned in ur video, but the results look spectacular. Well done! I’lm going to spend more time fixing the dimples & air bubbles than I did making my batches last night. The ironic part was that I bought a uv flashlight that worked better than the stupid nail salon light that came in the uv resin kit & was supposed to be 120 watts. Lol. The kit was an absolute nightmare. As I live in Colorado & elevation of 5k feet I think I’m going to try good old sunlight with the other uv resin I purchased from other sellers. Lol. I bought 3 types. Lol. I know the first is a dud anyways and the stench was horrific. Again, I loved ur video. Thanks!

Hello! Thank You and you are most welcome. What I can tell you is watts really don’t matter it’s the wave length 365nm is best. I sometimes have to let things cure under lamp for 20 minutes. Yes brands do effect things. For videos or workshops I will do UV but for my items I sell I most definitely use 2part. I can’t handle strong smells and wouldn’t want my students to have to deal with that. Please share and visit my Etsy shop Artfulelementsshop Fusion Film. Thanks again. Keep creating!❤️ Julia

Thank you for the video! Just wondering approximately how much resin would be needed for one pen? Thank you!
