Looking fresh! As a random dude on the internet: I've been using Brantho-Korrux 3-1 instead of hammerite. It can also be applied on top of rust and does not need a primer, but outperformed hammerite at tests at work (such as salt spray test).

Hi Joy, dat brandstof ding is de brandstof pomp. In dit geval is een mechanische pomp met een membraam. Leuke vlog's heb je en gaaf dat je een 340 opknapt.

If I may make a suggestion, get a wire wheel to clean up unpainted scruffy parts. It's faster and easier to get the crust off and you can always go over it with 240 if you feel like it. Awesome progress keep it up, thanks!

Really like this 340 journey! Parts all pleasing and easy to look at once more. Have you ever tried half linseed oil half mineral oil, it brings up metals and plastics and it’s alkali to slow oxidation.

Jouw Volvo 340 wordt straks echt een pareltje met die aandacht voor detail👍. Ik ben zeer benieuwd naar het uiteindelijke resultaat! Ik zag vandaag trouwens precies zo'n Volvo 300 serie rijden in dezelfde kleur als de jouwe en moest gelijk aan dit projectje denken. Verder wens ik je beterschap want je vertelde dat je bent ziek geweest. Het heerst schijnbaar. Zelf deze week ook 3 dagen op bed gelegen met zware griep. For any parts that get hot use rust converter on them, clean and dry them, then use VHT primer and what ever VHT color and VHT clear but if you want any color that can withstand hight temps use the VHT primer do a few coats of that let it dry then use what ever color you want with how ever many layers you choose followed by the VHT clear with a few layers of that and it won't flake off due to the heat

mooi gedaan. mss een paar tips? gebruik clear coat voor all stukken een mooie glans te geven ( natuurlijk laten drogen, anders matte finish) om sneller de stukken te reinigen, kun je stalen borstels krijgen voor op de boormachine. scheelt je heel wat tijd. hopelijk helpt het u een beetje en doe zo verder. ps indien je Volvo stukken wilt, heeft mijn vader waarschijnlijk wel iets liggen ervoor.

On using heat gun to dry paint, at work we heated the part first then paint would dry quicker and less likely to cause runs. How much heat? best judgement is needed, but not too hot.

Die gouden kleur is geelverzinking met chroom-6 (hexavalent chroom). Zit op de bouten en op de poelie. Zo,n 340 is een van de meest goedkoopste auto,s om mee te rijden momenteel, mits.... je enigszins technisch onderlegd bent. Normaal gesproken gaan ze ook amper kapot.

It's called a Fuel pump and Sand blasting, Pressure washing or Steam Cleaning are the best ways to clean car Parts. Wiping them with a cloth is not always very effective. 🤔🤔

vacuum powered fuel regulator, there is no electric connection. there for it has to be a fuel regulator that works off vacuum. at the end the day i stick with you fucking beautiful and i think you should have billions of subscribers and have you own show to make what ever you want. I got tattoos as well many of them and love cars as you do. I hope you are giving all the funding and all you seek to focus on what you love. My first was honda CRX loved it.
