Watching an accomplished lefty dance that fly line into action is so reminiscent of my oldest boy. We fly fished together for nearly 20 years and now he’s living on the other side of the country chasing Redfish in the Carolinas. I won’t ever leave the Rockies. This is my home. But it was a real delight to tag along with you tonight and remember so many special days with my lefty watching his gorgeous casting.

I stayed on Henry’s Lake in August 2018, I dragged my boat out from NJ, a day before I got there the Lake had a strong Algae bloom, everything shut down for the whole week I was there! So heads up on the Algae blooms on the lake. Luckily it was more of a family Yellowstone vacation plus there’s a million other places for a fly fisher to fish in this incredible area. I can't wait to get back but have at least a month to explore the area more. Good luck everyone.

Thank you for another great episode! I have been watching and enjoying this show for many years. I love the locations, fish and people that are highlighted on each episode. I understand that the pandemic has made it difficult to produce episodes during the past year. This has probably limited the production crews mobility and choice of locations. Island Park and SE Idaho have been highlighted extensively over the past year. Many of the streams in this region are already crowded with anglers. I hope that your program can begin again to diversify the locations, rivers, lakes, etc that are highlighted in order to help spread out anglers and protect these incredible resources from being loved to death. There are so many great places to fish and many that should be left to each angler to discover for themselves. Again, thanks for a great show!

Interesting combo.. I caught my first 5lb+ trout on Henry's lake when I was 5, back in 1974.. Raised in SB county in younger life.. Surfed Al's boards back when he was the one making them..

Oh my goodness Mark! That trick for tying the clinch knot in cold weather is a lifesaver. Fishing the Kenai in winter, I needed that.

Another great video and I really enjoy the DIY. We are fortunate to have several rivers that get Kokanee and it is so much fun it should be against the law. Pound for pound they can outfight a trout any day of the week.

This channel could become a deadly drinking game. You have to chug every time you hear a superlative ;) .... and on a more constructive note: if you love gorgeous water, stop by Big Springs which is the source of the Henry's Fork. Grab your camera.

Just chimed in a similar comment, as I'm married to a dermatologist and have a younger brother who has had a skin cancer removed. Guys with fair skin, burn before tanning (if at all) and personally, I'd rather fish than deal with the big "C".
