Is that the reason you use PCBWay because the sponsor you? The last I saw JLC PCB was cheaper, they were offering 5 PCB's for $2, it use to be 10 for $2 but I think that surely is only up to a certain size. I hope you are able to get that great Boston/Tom Sholz sound out of that,that would be great. Boston was always one of my favorites.

Awesome! I’ve got a soloist but want a Rockman. This kit will be a big help. But I also need an effects looper, to allow a regular pedal to be controlled by a midi octopus, and maybe an octopus to go along with them. Help? On my Solist, or possibly a rockman down the road, can I swap in a Lm4558 in place of the original op amp?

Hey, quick related question. I'm working on a pedal that has a high pitched squeal. I think it is a heterodyne whistle. I think my input wire is too long, but the way the board is designed, the input wire goes in on the left middle of the board. Without redesigning the board (which I can't really do...), is there an easy way to solve this?

Nice work, I'm also a fan of Tom Scholz's Rockman. Just a constructive comment: you left out an important element of the Rockman tone which is the compression - the section involving the JFET transistor and the diodes. Unfortunately, this section can only be implemented using both positive and negative polarity power supply (which the original Rockman does). The original Rockman also achieves the signal clipping using LEDs, not sure whether it saturates the op-amp. Other than that, nice PCB work. Is it EAGLE the software you are using?

UNTRUE! The REAL way to get Scholz guitar sound is thru the Rockman Modules; Sustainer, Dual EQs, Stereo Chorus and Stereo Delay.
