I make a big batch of rose water plain, refrigerate it, and put enough for two to three day use in a spray bottle, in which I add essential oils before use. This way I was able preserve my plain rose water for over a month without any bad smell or decolorization . You could also freeze in ice cube tray if you want to preserve it longer. Hope this help😊

I didn’t add any essential oil in my big batch that was regurgitated or freeze. Though, I added 2-3 drops of tea tree or peppermint essential oil to the rose water in my 2oz spray bottle for daily use.

Thanks for sharing. I also make my own rose water. I like the fact that I know exactly what is in the rose water. I also put oil in mine as well. I suggest everyone try it because, as you said, it is so cheap, quick, and easy. I add lavender oil or another essential oil in mine to make it smell nice. I always get compliments on how good my hair looks and smells.

This is Rose tea since it is the water the roses steeped in. The water is clear as it is the condensation collected from the lid. You are correct in it has some not all the benefits. Either way you will get some benefits. Rock on! 👏🏾

I put some floral scented essential oils in my rose water. It smelled great but it made the water cloudy. 🌹

Hi! If you make rose water using the correct process it will smell beautiful and floral. It's more work but def worth it. 🌺

Hi Queen,I would just pour room temperature distilled water over the roses n just let it sit for 3 -6 hours. That would be suffice. 💕

I don't get how you don't get all of the nutrients by steeping in almost boiling water. I've been doing that way for almost 5 yrs and my locs stay moisturized. My daughter keeps forgetting to mist her hair daily and you can tell the difference between her locs and mine. You can add your favorite essential oil for smell. But I use real lavender buds. I also add a preservative to mine.
