This is EXACTLY what I was looking to do with my frame but wasn't sure how it would look, butting up the large pieces and then an outside mitered frame, glad I found your video!

What a beautiful job! I had to laugh when I saw the tiny lady helping you move that big ole Pier mirror. I want to make this, can you tell me how I could ancher this to the wall to make sure it never fell over on a child or adult? Could this be hung on the wall or is it too heavy? Love your video! Thank you

Thank you! They make anchoring straps that you could use. It is essentially a nylon strap that you screw into the wall and then the back of the mirror. It is a heavy mirror but if you used heavy duty french cleat, I am sure it could hang on the wall.

Omg that turned out beautiful! If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase the mirror from??
@Kraftmade7 жыл бұрын
Regina Rodriguez thank you! I bought the mirror from a local glass and mirror distributor. You can't buy mirrors that big from big box stores

What if i wamt to fix it to a wall a bit above the ground? That back support of mirror will resist in earthquakes?
@Kraftmade4 жыл бұрын
I guess I don’t know. I don’t live in a part of the country that gets earthquakes

Hi! Apologies if it's rude to ask but how much did this project cost you? Looking to do something like this in my home 😄
@Kraftmade6 жыл бұрын
The mirror was like $75 and the wood was like $20, so not much!

I'm a little late but I want to ask how do you stop the mirror from bowing out into that U shape?
@Kraftmade5 жыл бұрын
Hi Shamis. I guess I don't quite understand. The mirror wont bend because it is made of glass. Does that answer your question?
@ShamisTalib5 жыл бұрын
Kraftmade so I purchased a floor mirror from a store and looking at it from the side it’s turning into a half moon. ( 👈🏼 In this this video when you picked it up & placed it on the wall it looks almost like a half moon ( Likes it’s bulging out but the still pic looks different
@Kraftmade5 жыл бұрын
@@ShamisTalib Hmm, is your mirror made of glass or plastic? If it is made of plastic that could be why. Mine is not bending, it's just the camera.
