DIY Rustic Wedding Arch

In this video I build a beautiful wedding arch out of reclaimed lumber. It's a simple project that anyone can accomplish with a jigsaw, circular saw, drill and some basic skills. I keep things light and try to have fun, making it up as I go along.

For anyone following his plans on a 45 degree angle, measure how long the base is from end to the side of the vertical piece. Once you have that number, multiply it by sqrt(2). By my math, his base measurement should have been 15.25". Therefore the diagonal will be 21.6 inches. Math is fun. Per those of you wondering why sqrt 2, it's a trig trick for triangles that have 45 degree angles
