I was watching this and thinking the whole time that it was bad advice because it didn’t recommend pumping antifreeze into the system, then at the end he says that they don’t do that in Texas. Blowing air through the system is insufficient. It’s quite possible to blow air past water in low points of the system and still have water in the system. Considering how costly a plumbing freeze and break could be, I think it’s poor advice to recommend the minimum. $40 worth of antifreeze and an extra 30 minutes tops to pump antifreeze into the system is a cheap insurance policy to potentially prevent thousands of dollars worth of damage.
