what heat did you do was it 200 F?

Heating vinyl records, as with making record bowls, releases phthalates and dioxin, which are known carcinogens. Heating polyvinyl chloride releases gas which can leave a permanent residue on the interior of ovens this is done in. This should not be done in any oven used for food preparation.

Please don't do this with your "spare" records. I'd rather first check my record out if it's worth anything like on Discogs, and then do this if the record is only worth max 2 dollars. But if you have a record which is worth 50$, then rather sell it :/
