Hickies. They're a show elastic thing. Look them up They are amazing! Especially for people who have any sort of issue with laces.

I would recommend using some sort of topcoat. I usually use a matte varnish. If you don't do that, the excess colour will bleed if they get wet

I love the shoes. I want to try this but I have not yet found plain white canvas shoes. Hope I find some. P.s. try to dye the laces to match your shoes, more comfortable and they would probably blend right in. Thanks for the inspiration.

You can get rainbow laces, they'd go great in these shoes! Really good tutorial, thank you I love the watercolour effect

you can cover the rubber part of shoes with masking tape and to fit better with out lace you can try to put in rubber heel stick on you might have to glee gun them in if you wish this idea might help lov,lov,lov the idea

+himani verma Any brand of permanent marker will work. If you use a water-based marker, such as Crayola, it will just wash off after awhile.

You can use nail polish remover to get rid of dirt on the rubber part of your shoe

Looks awesome! Have you tried erasing off the ink from the rubber? I have always found that to be the most efficent way to get rid of sharpie off those kinds of surfaces.

You can use 100% acetone to remove the marker from the rubber sole.

Please do the galaxy ones Btw I used mr.clean magic erasers on my converse when I get stuff on the rubber and it makes the rubber look 100% clean and I've had sharpe on them before and it worked to them off 😊

If you take a dry erase maker and color on top of the permanent marker it should come off. No specific color needed. I works on anything plastic and things like that. Being a teacher you learn a few tricks. Hope that helps any one.
