This kzbin.infoUgkxATHBlMJwipGgVWseuAFKvDQ_5R4_lywo unit was an easy install and turned out amazing. The dimensions were exact! I took a chance and built the wall prior to receiving the unit which arrived sooner than expected and it fit right in the space I constructed. The heat output is perfect for the space we needed and made the room exactly how we envisioned it to turn out. I am happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. Thank you for the awesome product just in time for the holidays.

I did one similar to yours. I stopped a few feet from the ceil and was able to put a shelf on top with Lanters on top. Since I rented, I made it removable. It came apart in two pieces and yes it was heavy. I have moved it to three homes now. The one thing I would do differently is to use that empty space behind the tv and fireplace. You can put shelves for books or make a cabinet door. I like the clean look so when I redo mine, I am going to hide the doors.

Most of these videos have the electric fireplace over the stone/brick. Is there a reason you cut the brick around it? I’m trying to decide what to do but I’m afraid if we cut the stone around it that we won’t ever be able to get the fireplace out if we need to.

Hi! I love the build actually replicating it myself (with some changes). I have a question around the frame of the fire place. It looks like he added 4 smaller 2x4 between the frame and "stud" was that just because of spacing it was that extra structure needed?
