Brilliant a bicycle shock pump with gauge and No Loss fitting! Nitrogen for motocross Super cross - Compressor air for Dual Sport and trail riding> No need for crazy high shock pressure unless you are doing big Jumps, the Shock pressure is to make sure no air enters the seal during rebound ( like your forks do) Another great video > Cheers and Thanks

For many years I've used normal air in my AT750 without any problems. To pump the shock absorber I was using MTB shock absorber pump :) Now, to make it a little more professional I made this charging station. Sometimes I rebuild shock absorbers for customers and charging station should be first investment :)

it's not about the pressure. it's the moisture in the air you're pumping in which might cause corrosion to metal parts.

Hello, Where can I buy all this hardware what you used? Pressure regulator and the rest…
@DawidMartasMotoAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Pressure regulator is from welder shop. Hose, valve, connectors from air conditioning shop. Pump from bike shop. All bought online :)

Great job! 👍 It looks very nice! Can you please tell me which sizes are those SAE adapters? T-piece is 3/8in?
@DawidMartasMotoAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Those are 1/4 SAE. As far as I remember T-piece is 2x SAE and one metric thread for gauge. Those adapters are common in air conditioning stores.

@@DawidMartasMotoAdventures Thanks man! You are awesome! 👍 It's hard to find such shops here in Austria and track those fittings, but thanks to you I managed to order everything from Amazon and soon I'll have my own Nitrogen charging station 😎👍

WHAT SIZE BARB END WENT INTO THE BICYCLE PUMP
@plllot97132 жыл бұрын
zdaje sobie sprawe, ze to niewielki szczegol, ale czy nie lepiej byloby najpierw puscic lekko azot na otwartym tym bezstratnym zaworku zeby pozbyc sie powietrza z przewodu i dokrecic zaworek dopiero wtedy. dzieki temu unikasz wpompowywania malej ilosci powietrza. ten cylinder tuz przed wejsciem do amorka to jest osuszacz? orientujesz sie moze czy zaklady napelniajace klimatyzacje bylyby w stanie mi skutecznie napompowac amorek, oni chyba maja odpowiednie przylacza a i azot powinni miec. ostatnio pomyslalem, ze warto byloby zmienic olej w tylnym amorze i kombinuje jak tu go pozniej nabic :)

What was the size of the pump tube bore
@an38804 жыл бұрын
You made some investments and it sure is very professional but why not use a small pump like for MTBs and use air pressure? It's done in seconds.
@DawidMartasMotoAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I used hand MTB pump for a long time :D The biggest problem is with the moisture in the air - there is no big difference between "dry air" and clean nitrogen. Anyway I think normal rider will never see difference between air and clean nitrogen.

WHY? I think a better question would be "why do you need to refill the shock? If the shock has a defective pressure seal what good does it do to re-pressurize it, only to have it leak out in a few hours.
