I built these wall cabinets for my workshop to store all of my finishing supplies and help organize my new work shop. The two shop cabinets sandwich a drill charging station I made a couple weeks ago. I used full overlay hinges and installed them with the Kreg concealed hinge installation jig. This is nice tool and for under $30, it made installing the hinges super easy. I hope you like the video and consider subscribing to my channel to see more shop organization and furniture build videos. Thanks for watching!

Simple but really nice and effective. I suggest small recesses on the bottom of the adjustable shelf at the pins. That prevents it from sliding out.

the best take-away from this is the 'double wide' and groove matching for left and right sides... so accurate and a time saver.

Well done! Nice video with great explanations along each step. Where did you get the Baltic birch plywood you used? It looked to have more plies than typical home center plywood’s and appeared nice and flat.

the shop is coming out great! I like the design of this cabinet. Dado stacks really make the job quicker, unfortunately we are not able to use them in Europe for "safety" reason.... the shank is too short

Great project, but what caught my eye was your workbench. Did you design it yourself or get the plans from someone? I have the SYP sitting in my garage now to start a new workbench. My old one has a plywood top which is drooping. I would appreciate knowing if you came up with the bench (and have plans available) or who you got the plans from if you bought them. Keep up the good work. Just found your channel really enjoy the way you present your projects.

Thanks for the feedback! I consulted the plans from benchcrafted for my workbench but had to adapt to using dimensional lumber. I am working on a set of plans but i haven't had much time lately. I have a couple videos that outline the workbench build you can check out. If you have any questions about the build or dimensions of the bench(or parts of the bench), let me know and I will do my best to get you the info you need.

Can you tell us your sanding process for plywood cabinets
@TwistedWorkshop77
@TwistedWorkshop77 5 жыл бұрын
On this project I used 150 grit on a random orbital sander then 220 grit. Then I hand sanded the edges to ease the sharp edges with a sanding block and 220 grit. Baltic birch has thick plies or veneers. If it was plywood from the home center, I would have started with 220 grit and I would avoid too much sanding with a machine since the veneer is very thin and it is easy to burn through to the layers underneath
