those french seams would go a lot easier and lie a bit better if you ironed them differently. I'm not entirely sure how to describe it. open the seam out, and iron the seam allowance to one side. so like your front and back pieces are either side of the seam and the seam allowance is ironed flat against either the front piece or the back piece. and then trim the seam allowance. and then flip the garment so it's right sides together, just like it will be when you sew it the second time, and iron it again with that seam right at the edge. that way your seam allowance will be flatter and less puffy and boucy and you won't need to roll the fabric with your fingers and you won't need to use as many pins.

Hi and it is a stay stitch so the bias fabric doesn’t grow!

i followed the video while putting it together and its definitely not adding up... i thought you were supposed to add the grommet holes when cutting the pattern out but the way you taught to sew it the holes are in the wrong spot and the front pieces and back pieces according to the beginning were to be sewn together but in the end of the video they were sewn front with back... im sooo confused because my pieces definitely arent matching up.

Lovely lingerie. If the initial seam is pressed open it is easier the make the second encasing seam, if there are darts they can also be made with a French seam. Birdy
