I don't know why, but it looks a little weird on the top, to the eye I mean. Could it be improved by putting a crown molding, to accentuate the ceiling to the rest of the room?

Great idea using the pvc boards. But something about using wood feels so much more genuine. End result looks great for photos though. Also, might have done you good to have painted them before hanging, the paintwork looks a bit uneven.

Pvc is not cheap lol. Use pine board 80% cheaper than pvc. I dont kmow what is cheap for her😂
