Today my Mom (Sheila) and I have fun making over her bedroom! She's been a long-time collector of vintage and antiques, but now it's time for a refresh. We are going to makeover her small bedroom with home decor from Estate sales, Goodwill as well as paint the walls with a fresh bold color.

Omg… your momma’s sleep pattern is just like mine.. I don’t sleep .. I crash.. it’s not unusual for me to go 24 hrs , nap for a couple of hrs, stay up, another 24 hrs..repeat.. maybe I should go dark in my bedroom !! Side note- family will call me, at all hrs, because they can pretty much count on my being awake, but then the first words out of their mouth are ‘ what are doing still up ?? 😂😂

Love your relationship between you and your Mom. Mine was the same with my Mom. She was a breast cancer survivor with a heart condition who lived to her 90th birthday. She was spunky. We loved collecting antiques. She is with me in spirit, but I miss our shopping trips and travels. Love the gutsy choice of room decore. Your Dad is terrific! Dear Sheila, I, too, am a cave dweller! I can't have any light coming in from the windows AT ALL! I close my door and the world out there is gone. My puppy Reggie is one now, too. He goes in his crate to nap and I put blankets over and around it, so it stays dark in there. He loves it. Otherwise, I'm all about the light. You all did a beautiful job on the bedroom. I would do Gothic, too, but my family would toss me off a cliff, so I do as close to Victorian as I can. I so love your vlog, Selena! You're doing a wonderful job. Much love from Texas

I’m happy with either one, but these days I think I choose light and as for the good Lord shining on me early in the mornings, I actually love it! But at night time, I do love total darkness! Yes...it makes me miss my momma. She passed about 2years ago , but Covid was a nightmare and a lot of people lost their loved ones the same way. but when I see you and your mom on video it makes me happy because I can relate to how you both get along.
