This is a fantastic and ideal sized Smoker My Friend. I have an electric and propane smoker, but what happens when the Lights Go Out on a Real SHTF Event. No Electricity and no Propane. I had different plans for a little larger Smoker, but once I saw this one, I knew this one was for me. Perfect. Thanks for posting this video. I work at a hospital and we get pallets that are basically a one off, for holding certain types of Hospital operating room equipment. They cannot be used again for any purpose. Lots of longer 2x4's and slats that can be used for framing and siding. I recently bought a 30 lb propane tank that will be cut and converted to a stove like yours, altho I would prefer a stove like the one you're using. Can you tell me the name of it so I might be lucky and track one down. Thanks for your help.

24 x 24. How tall is this. I was lucky. I found the same table top charcoal BBQ at Rona, ( Canadian), for much less than Amazon. Not a side mount smoker attachment, but that's ok. It has an air vent on the left side. Once I take the left handle off and unscrew the circular air vent, almost the same deal as yours. Just have to use a 4 inch pipe and make a circular flange. And if not mistaken, you said that you used 4 inch pipe. I figure that I can smoke enuff sausage at once and the nice thing about yours is that it is basically portable. One person can move this around. I'll have to figure a way to chain this down. Altho I do live in a decent part of town, things have a habit of walking away by themselves. I'm amazed that my patio furniture is still here.

Thank you for watching. This is not just regular smoker that smokes about one hour per pound of meat. I made old fashion smoker for cold smoking. It needs to be performed in winter months when temperature is in 30's. Usually takes about seven to ten days to keep it out in cold and do 3-4 times fire that is good for 3-5 hours at time to produce mostly smoke and not to much of heat. Before smoking there is cure and preparation part. Salting and keeping it in refrigerator for about seven days to cure it and prevent bacteria. You can watch my other 4 videos about it.

@@stoker261 a lot of guys use hard wood to construct their boxes. I see a lot of oak, and cedar I saw one made of furniture grade mahoganey, and one made with some asian wood that wasn't supposed to rot in the rain (but it's biggest opponent was snow and freeze). I have also seen bamboo. The problem with pine is it leaks sap and the smoke off of it is bad eats. Also a lot of it is pressure treated which is really bad eats.
