For those that are interested in measuring the perfect heat cord, follow these instructions: 1. Find the total height of the rack, minus the height from the top shelf to the top panel. (This allows for the rise in the heat cord). 2. Minus the height from the length of the heat cord, this will give you the usable heat cord for all the shelves. 3. Divide that number by the amount of shelves to give you how much heat cord per shelf. Tips: 1. Keep your heat cord at least 70-80mm away from the back and sides of the shelf, this will allow for any taper in the tub/container. 2. Aim to keep your heat cord spaced no further away than 50mm from the previous row. 3. Apply heat rated tape to keep heat cord in routed channel.

Nice rack!! What about the Jig for the router?
@CookiesCritters2 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. A jig would work but we always found that doing it systematically, all the grooves lined up. Our racks that we have for sale, we cut on a CMC. All machine edged too 👍

Awesome vid guys 👌🏼 where do you get the tubs!? I am located in southeast Queensland
@CookiesCritters3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback mate. My supplier is in Sydney, they do freight but they do have a 20 tub minimum with freight. Your best bet would be to check out places like Bunnings for their underbed roll away tubs.
