What kind of rope is this? Cotton or a blend with polyester so ends can be burned? Help please

Looks like 550 cord or parachute cord. We use it for everything in the military. It has more cord in the inside, just pull it out. Strong enough to hold a parachute soft enough to make a bracelet

@@dartanzalw I have parachute cord, but the way this burns, and also the way it looks, i think nylon in it. something that melts when it burns, the parachute cord is really nice, but it has polyester I believe? i think it would look great on the soap just make the hole a little larger then tie a smaller knot and then put it inside the hole to hide it. no burning

her cord is a little more transparent than parachute cord...I will use the parachute cord just no burning..
