Materials & Tools:
Fabric - red felt, black felt, orange felt & fleece blanket with blanket stitch trim. For details on fabric amounts see each snowman section below.
Paper - Christmas paper for the carol book (see pattern for size) you will need to make 4, one for each snowman.
Sewing thread in red & black.
Large Snowman with top hat:
1 x 32cm polystyrene ball
1 x 38cm polystyrene ball
1 x Fluffy ladies sock
1 x Elastic band
2 small black buttons
Piece of orange felt (see pattern)
2 small branches for arms
Black felt for the hat /or Card (see pattern for the size)
Scarf (from fleece blanket) 5cm x 50 cm approx.
Large Snow-woman with cloak:
1 x 32cm polystyrene ball
1 x 38cm polystyrene ball
1 x Fluffy ladies sock
1 x Elastic band
2 small black buttons
Piece of orange felt (see pattern)
2 small branches for arms
Red felt for the cloak & trim from the fleece blanket (see pattern for the size)
Scarf (from fleece blanket) 5cm x 50 cm approx.
Small Snow-girl with cloak:
1 x 22cm polystyrene ball
1 x 25cm polystyrene ball
1 x Fluffy ladies sock
1 x Elastic band
2 small black buttons
Piece of orange felt (see pattern)
2 small branches for arms
Red felt for the cloak & trim from the fleece blanket (see pattern for the size)
Scarf (from fleece blanket) 5cm x 40 cm approx. (Cut to size)
Small Snow-boy with hat:
1 x 22cm polystyrene ball
1 x 25cm polystyrene ball
1 x Fluffy ladies sock
1 x Elastic band
2 small black buttons
Piece of orange felt (see pattern)
2 small branches for arms
Hat from the fleece blanket 11.5 cm x 25cm
Scarf (from fleece blanket) 5cm x 50 cm approx.
Tools:
Scissor
Blade to cut the polystyrene balls
Needle
Pins
Glue gun & glue sticks
A4 paper & printer
