If anybody is interested. The calculation for the mix.: Looking to get a 5% mix ratio. The next number is the strength of your bleach. Say 10% Now devid the 5% by 10% = .5 Now multiply .5 by bucket size. Let's say 5 gallons. .5 x 5 gallons = 2.5 gallons of bleach needed. So fill the bucket with 2.5 gallons bleach and 2.5 gallon of water and this will give you 5% mix ratio. Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks so much for this video, it’s excellent. Just one thing you might consider changing - use the blue threading paste instead of the thread tape. Why? Those threads will ruin your pump if they get sucked into the machine.

You can just fill the tank with the bleach first only and then once you get to the job then add the water. Keeps the barrel lighter.

Yes their shooter tip for a 12v is really good. I do run a 4gpm. No reason to upgrade, get paid the same as the 8-10 gpm lol whatever you do don't go in massive debt for equipment. If you go in debt go in debt for marketing costs via yard signs and ads.

Yes, you should be able to find a smaller PVC pipe if not I put some hose clamps on the bottom and a 5/8 poly barb at the end

Have you ever found that the product description thread doesn’t match what it says it is. I have a 5 gpm pump from Wassmermann that says it is a 1/2 NPT, however when I get the 1/2 NPT it does not thread on at all. Curious if you know any other thread it could be.

You're gonna need a bigger tank more than likely. I recommend a 55 gal drum from Facebook $10-$30. Other than that I'd look at your hoses make sure there's no leaks or loss of pressure.

@@merk7511 You'll get less flow. For your intake hose definitely use 5/8 but make sure it's suction hose not garden hose. Garden hose is fine for outflow. More flow. More reach on the 5.5 gpm.

I always have 1 barrel for just water to rinse out my lines and homes. As far as just bleach in another you can but you'll have to buy or build a proportioner if you're pulling from both into your pump. and no I don't know any cheap ways to mix chems.
