It takes longer than 4 minutes to do the curb and sometimes the client doesn’t want the curb cleaned, so you could possibly tick them off by doing something they didn’t ask for/want. Also when you do enough, we don’t have time to give a free add on for every driveway we clean. Just ask the owner if they wanna add it for $20-$40.

Hey thanks for the content! I would suggest getting hose rings for hooking up to people's houses so you know the seal will be good and won't go everywhere like in the first minute (they cost like a dollar for 8 of them. Great video and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

I like screwing on a quick connect fitting to their house. And if it goes bad, I just toss it and throw a new one on. I do have a huge o-ring kit though. Like 20 bucks for just about anything I'd ever need because o-rings fall out or go bad fairly often. A good o-ring kit is a must-have and I already had a ton of these little supplies as I was a CNC and lathe mechanic for 10 years. I stainless steel quick connect everything to have the least amount of screwing on and off as possible

I usually soak the grass and post treat, it helps remove the remaining spots and also clears up any lines the surface cleaner may have left.

6% on this job, I try and avoid overspray onto the grass and plants as much as possible. If you're ever worried just soak the plants and grass with water after and you'll be fine.

Are you supposed to run SH through the surface cleaner?

I would not recommend that. SH will just rust out your fittings if you run it through your surface cleaner.

Can I ask why were you heavily rinsing certain spots on the concrete footpaths cracks and sides in the beginning? Is that a pre rinse or a hot mix? Cool vid thanks.

I like to cut in my corners before I surface clean. Since the surface cleaner cleans in a circular pattern, it makes cleaning certain corners impossible. So I just cut them in ahead of time. Similar to painting and how you would paint the corners and edges first. Just makes the process flow smoother. Thanks for supporting the channel! I plan on uploading more frequently.

Thanks for watching! The machine is 8gpm, and the surface cleaner is a ‘whisper wash 19 inch’ it allows for a nice walking pace. Very rarely does it take more than an hour to do a standard sized driveway. I enjoy answering y’all’s questions so feel free to ask!

So, I thought u put bleach out after pre rinsing and let it dwell before hitting with your surface cleaner, then rinse again and that's it..........but u bleached afterwards ?

What percent was your post treat and was it just bleach and water or was there surfactant in there too?

You don’t need any surfactant to post treat a flat surface, I may have some surfactant in my mix because I don’t have a stand alone surfactant tank. I believe the mix here is a 6%. So 50/50 if you’re getting 12.5% from your supplier.

Question for anyone who has used chemical on sidewalk, driveway, or anywhere really. I'm sure people who have been doing this long enough have had times where someone is walking their dog or whatever and they decide to attempt walking on the SH or whatever you're using. How do you guys handle this? Most of the time people will obviously go around or cross the street when I have this happen, but every now and then you get those people who just refuse and you have to step in and tell them. I just bought a 1000' roll of caution tape and I know it's legal to block off sections when you're working, but I haven't used it yet. I'm really curious what other people do because I never see this brought up anywhere. There is so much dog walking in my area

There’s only so much you can do. I just try and warn anyone who is about to walk through the area that I just put bleach down. Majority will walk around it, but some people will walk right through. I find the best thing you can do is just give them a heads up.

When I was just starting out I used word of mouth from friends and family. I was pulling a pressure washer out of the trunk of my Acura TL for the first year LOL. I learned pretty early on that the commercial side of the industry was more my vibe. Building your commercial clientele just takes time. 100 No's to get 1 Yes basically. Researching companies and getting in contact with the right person at the right time. You'll get there if you stay motivated and provide quality services. I do remember running one Facebook ad when I first started out in 2019. I think I spent $20 and got a $400 dollar job. Yard signs were always a hit or miss for me. I had some yield me 3 jobs, I had some signs pulled by that afternoon.

You must be stupid all company’s use clients water he wasn’t stealing anything from the client those tanks are called buffer tanks they feed into the pressure washer to make sure it gets enough water and the pump dosent burn up

1 unit of water = 100 cubic feet which equals 748 gallons of water. 748. Here in California San Luis Obispo ( which is expensive af) water costs $3.11 per unit. I’m sure if he even used 748 gallons which he isn’t, he could incorporate it into his charge for his service.
