If you want to do more floating details, I recommend looking into magician’s line, the stuff worms on a string come on! it’s not clear, but it’s designed to catch less light can clear line so it might come out looking more invisible beautiful piece 💛

if you make a sphere of clay and then cut it in half you can get 2 about even sized clay hemispheres. it helps when trying to make mirrored parts.
