How much paint did it use to cover that one side of the frame? is 1 tin sufficient for 2-3 coats? Thanks...

Hi, I think I only used 1 tin, I did buy 2 tins and pretty sure I have some left. But I'd buy 2 just in case !

I find cleaning the surface with acetone will key the surface as it will eat into the surface slightly taking the shine off

It’s a nice job in the Sumer / just clean the frames / masking tape can of primer and a can of the finished colour - £20-30 a window Costs/ it’s just labour intensive / the only real work is putting the masking tape on / you couid do a standard size house for £500 max in 2-4 days at your own leisure 👍

Thanks for the video! Has inspired me to go out and try it for myself! I managed to get the same wrx spray paint as well! We’re doing our upvc windows but not taking them off. We did one window last night and let it dry overnight, but it had dried patchy in places, I think it’d were over sprayed abit more heavy in these areas! What’s the best way to fix it? Can I sand back and apply another even coat? Thanks!

I would give it a very light sand just to make it smooth again, then lightly spray it again. Light coats is the key really.

Is this gloss grey, satin grey or matt grey?

Not sure I remember now, but it's probably more satin Grey.

I paid extra to have the anthracite foil on both sides of mine, and there is still a strip of white when the windows and door are open.

Will it stick into upvc and give life for long days?will it become fade in summer?

I have had no problem with mine, and there are plenty of companies out there offering this kind of service. It's like any painting, prep is the key (no pun intended!)

I’ve sprayed America football helmets in the same way and the paint job holds up very well even with the contact it receives, so a door/window frame should be fine

I used this but while spraying it splatters bubbles on the surface . I shook the cans well and kept it upright as instructed but still splattered out

Probably a faulty nozzle, try popping the paint can in warm wTer for a 10 minutes it sprayes better x

Did you spray the whole frame inside and out off cam as you didn’t mask off to stop over spray drifting onto the white inner face

I only sprayed the outside as my house windows are white inside. And of course this window is only for my garage and I wanted a white crisp interior

It's that grey/anthracite again that most of the nation are going crazy on. Grey will labelled the norm once again. It looks good only on certain type of buildings and colour contrasts. If you look at a street with 50 house in white and 10 in grey. White looks in my opinion

Yes it's anthracite, it looks very modern IMO.

@@trollmanrs agree does look modern, But certain things have limitation and this colour is one as it's been used on commercial buildings i.e shop fronts for a long time. Seen this on a whole new council estate build looks horrendous
