Hi there~! I'm not sure how long the foam will last if you're planing on long term use... I've only use them occasionally and still good so far... this project is more for fun varieties as its easy to make... :)

after trying a few things out, I’d recommend thicker foam for long term use or hot gluing two layers, as the hot glue would make it sturdier. ~A

If it's just for fun or short usage perhaps you can try using cardboards or look around your household for something that holds a thickness around 2-3mm and cuttable. May be a bit more limited on the design tho as harder materials may be harder to cut to fine designs. Hope this helps~!

Hi there! You can use any wood or doesn't even have to be wood, basically you just need something with a flat surface to stick the cutout foam and sturdy enough for you to hold on and stamp. 😊

Mine is about 3mm thick. if yours is thinner than that may be you'll need to make 2 to stick together and make it thicker else too thin may be hard to stamp... 😊

Hi, you can try with cardboard with at least 2mm thickness but I would really recommend getting the foam paper as it is easier to cut and the spongy characteristic help with the stamping. You should be able to easily get foam paper from stationary shop or the stationary department in shopping mall.

Hi~! Usually I'd just chop on a scrap paper till the original ink is all gone, if that is not enough can try wipe with alcohol wipe to clean the foam :) Hope this helps~

In my country (Malaysia) can find them in Daiso shops... If not you should be able to find ink pads from stationary shop/department in stores. As for blocks yiu may try your local craft store or replace it with anything steady and flat that you can stick ur foam onto. Hope this helps 😊

People there says “chop” instead of “stamp” (meaning to apply an image from the rubber stamp with ink onto paper)! 😂. I used to live there but am now in Canada! Hi Sarah~ I got mine from Daiso (not sure if it's the same at your place). But you can use anything in replacement actually... Box... Eraser... plastic block... the idea is just something flat and solid enough so that you can stick the foam on and hold on to when you chop :)
