This video is a godsend! All other videos shows that I need specific tools and erasers to start learning it but your video show that I can just use a penknife and regular eraser. Thank you so much!!!

Glad it was helpful! All the tools you need are probably already in your drawer :)

Another artist suggested sharpp razor blades for part of the cutting. Easy to manipulate like penknife, but ibviously for much bigger stamps!

Nicely done! I like that you took the time to sketch your own drawings until you found ones that you liked, and good job carving the stamps. As someone else said, it's also very approachable when you come in with so few supplies needed to start. I didn't know they had translucent ink for stamps, very cool! I also like it when techniques from one discipline can travel across and be used in others. For instance, you could use a masking fluid from watercolor and use it to preserve white areas. Winsor & Newton is a popular one. Thanks for sharing! Oh one last thing, which is your preference? Speedball Speedy Carve, or a white eraser, or pink eraser? I have linoleum, but I'm thinking it would be more of a challenge to cut?

Ohhh the way you cut them is so pro, I made eraser stamps last week and I wasn’t sure how to cut them so I ended up with small carves, and by watching this I think I learned some tips! Thanks for making this video 🥺✨

I always make a point to ink them carefully so they don't need to be cleaned. But if need be, they can be washed gently with water and soap :)
