What kind of paper did you use to make the pattern? Is it specifically made for tailoring? I use tracing paper, used for drafting, to trace patterns. I find tracing paper to be too stiff.

I use pattern paper that I purchase by roll from Maculloch and Wallis. I think you can get it online by the metre etc if need be, it’s sometimes called Dot and cross paper. Hope this helps!
