Well done. Not my first stem bag but that's by far the easiest + fastest to be done. Nice job for the pattern !!!

Great easy pattern, mine came out sweet, also made one a little larger using this pattern design. Cheers

Thanks for the helpful video and pattern. It's far easier than a circle bottom one when working with stiffer/non-stretchy materials. I used a pliable, heavy duty tarp for the base material and modified the pattern to fit a 50 oz PETE bottle for long water carries. Definitely recommend a heftier thread as noted above.

Thanks! Mine came out great and definitely easier than a four panel version. If I make another, I would widen the external panel.

Silly question but is the cinch loop made of shock cord or paracord? I made a similar cinch and used shock cord, and the cyberian cord lock is kinda hard to use. Wondering if it's a difference in quality of my shock cord or if I'm using the wrong thing entirely.

Thanks for these awesome tutorials. Would you be able to put something together at some point that shows some of the settings, techniques, tips and tricks, etc you use with the sewing machine? This would be for someone with minimal knowledge about how to use a machine for this type of projects. Thank you.

Super nice! I just started making my own projects. Thanks for the inspiration. I have a question, around 3:30, what is the material called you sewed over the edges? Thank you!!
@zipworks
@zipworks 2 жыл бұрын
It’s called grosgrain or simply edge binding tape

Would really appreciate some info on how to thread the cording through the Cyberian loc, please. Also, do you use a liner with your pattern and are there written instructions please? Thanks in advance.

Hi, really nice video, sadly I don't have a bike to use this with... Since I'm starting to sew elastic stuff like the stretchy pocket on your bag in your opinion what is the best way of sewing elastic webbing and fabrics without the double side tape that you have? should I buy it? Thanks for all of the amazing projects that you do and the pattern generator, super useful!

Get the kind of elastic webbing that is designed to be folded over and get some of the tape too, totally worth it

Hi! Thanks! Are you asking about what seam allowance I use? If so, I typically use 1/4 inch which is about 6mm

@@zipworks Thanks for answering my comment, I wanted to ask about the plans, do you sell them or how can I have them, I'm starting to sew and your designs seem very cool and simple to do.

I see! If you pause the video at 0:36 you’ll see the exact dimensions for this particular project, all you need really. Let me know if you have any questions.

What presser foot did you switch to for sewing the fold-over elastic? And is that the dissolvable seam tape (magic tape) or normal seam tape? I've always had trouble with elastics.
