i just realized Gojo's uniform's button/fold is on the other side :') would it work to just invert the patterns?
@Madec-vo4iuАй бұрын
It does ^^ Rn I'm making my third jjk uniform with this pattern, you just have to flip the right and left side of the front part :D❤

Which stitch do you suggest for handsewing? Thank you so much for this ❤

I usually just use a whip stitch!

Just ordered some fabric, Hope I can pull it off! Do you have a pattern for Men's version?
@ndlwrkshop Жыл бұрын
We only have the women's version for this one. Make sure to refer to the measurement chart to get the right size and make a mock-up to test the fit and adjust it.

What type of fabric is this to make the uniform? Before purchasing the pattern I would like to see if that type of fabric is in my neighborhood store. Thank you
@ndlwrkshop Жыл бұрын
We like to use a medium weight poly / cotton blend of any type of suiting fabric. If you have a local fabric store, I'm sure they'll have something you can use! It's always good to ask advice from the workers as well.

Who’s gonna tell him what a gakuran is…
@Turbo_s1ayer3 ай бұрын
@@Aesos3429 Who's gonna tell *you* what a gakuran is? The uniform from JJK isn't a normal gakuran, (if you could even call it one AT ALL) and it isn't used in the real world. Traditional, *real* gakuran jackets are very rarely double breasted, and even when they are, they don't and never will look like the uniforms from JJK.
@violet_night042 ай бұрын
@@Turbo_s1ayerI'm pretty sure he knows that JJK uniforms are stylized gakuran. You can tell that JJK uniforms have a bit inspiration from gakuran (like Nobara & Gojo's).

For sewing a jacket with a lining, would you suggest getting the same amount of material for lining as the jacket main material?
@ndlwrkshop Жыл бұрын
I would suggest getting the front panel lining in the same fabric as the outside shell; so when you open the jacket it looks pretty seamless. If you want to line the rest of the jacket, I'd get a lining fabric for the back panel and the sleeves. It would roughly be 2/3 the amount needed for the outer jacket.
@bellau8726 Жыл бұрын
has anyone tried making a version without the sleeves?

We have not tried but let us know if you need any information relating to pattern adjustments.

Im struggling to not have the snaps show. How do i do that?
@ndlwrkshop5 ай бұрын
You need to sew them only into the lining and not the outer layer.

@@ndlwrkshop Oh, thanks. I didn't end up making a lining but I'll make sure to keep that in mind
