Nice idea I've been looking around for a cheap pocket hole jig but i think I'm gonna do your same idea cause it's much cheaper

Thank you very much. It is indeed a cheap option and it's working perfectly fine since i've built it.

Great video! For different thicknesses specially bigger ones, that jig has different positions, therefore you have to take it out, change and put it back again in your bench. Is that possible in your wood project? Because I only see you changing the depth of the ring in the bit. I dont see you change the position of the wolfcraft jig itself. Thanks

Thank you for the comment. The Wolfcraft jig itself has a button on the backside to change the depth. It's easily reachable, it doesn't have to be removed while changing to a thicker material. However it's very simple to take the jig out, make the adjustment and put it back, takes only few seconds.

what about the depth adjustment? doesn't 2 by 4 require the pocket hole to be extended?

Thank you for the comment. The Wolfcraft pocket hole jig itself has a button on the back (you can see it at 3:27 in the video), which controls depth adjustment. The clamp on the jig also adjustable for thicker material.
