Interesting video, I enjoyed that. I had exactly the same problem on my very old C Class about a year ago, and it was also the thermostat. A bit easier to get to than the Panda though.

Hi Nath Great video as always . Information packed & helpful. The CRUNCHING going in to reverse gear is a FAULT/ KNOWN PROBLEM on a lot of Fiat's of varying models. But I never adjusted either clutch on them. My 09 Punto Mrs L200 has as a run about as I won't let her near the L200 or Fiesta does the same thing. Both my Fiat Punto's have had the same thing. I'm impressed Reg has a cat flap in the mancave door. I've often wondered what happened to poor Reg when you weren't living it large at the mancave & ya self & Dad weren't spannering there. But now know he can get in/out. Talking of "FORESKIN JUMPER" I'm guessing this was filmed during his gammy knee latest painful bout? As he's not heard even slurping his T in the background..... plus when u LUBED the nipple at the back of the airbox HE'D AV BEEN ALL OVER THAT PINKY FINGERING it for ages. Av a great weekend. Looking forward to when yourself & Dad take Paddy & Pete up in to those them hills in Portugal 🇵🇹 Stay lucky. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Alan L200

Hi Alan! Dad loves a bit of pinky fingering especially in the smaller crevasses! 🤪 The crunching is very irritating especially as the car if fine through all the other gears. Sure I’ll get to the bottom of it. ;) Been very peaceful up that the Mancave as dads not been here! Reg and I have been busy fiddling on the jobs we want to do 👍 Hope you’re well. Nathan

@@si4632 we do a 35km drive from home to the mancave, going, its all up hill, home all downhill - so we notice the thermostat, going the temp is fine, but coasting downhill (as its very steep) home the temp drops back to cold - its an OCD thing with me, I just stare at it 🙈

i got check engine light and it says sensor for coolant temperature not working properly can i change it without emptying the coolant its the green little thing on thermostat?
@DrivenMadShow
@DrivenMadShow Ай бұрын
Yes, you can typically replace the coolant temperature sensor (the green part you're referring to) without needing to drain the entire coolant system, but there are a few things to keep in mind: Locate the Sensor: The coolant temperature sensor is often mounted on or near the thermostat housing or cylinder head. It's usually a small, green or blue connector, depending on the manufacturer. Prepare for Some Coolant Loss: While you don't need to drain the whole system, you should expect some coolant to spill out when you remove the sensor. You can catch this coolant in a clean container or place a rag under the sensor to minimize mess. Allow Engine to Cool: Before replacing the sensor, make sure the engine is completely cool to avoid burns or injury from hot coolant. Replacement Process: Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor. Use the appropriate tool (usually a socket or wrench) to unscrew the sensor. Some sensors might require a special socket. Quickly install the new sensor to minimize coolant loss. Reconnect the electrical connector and ensure the sensor is securely in place. Check Coolant Level: After replacing the sensor, top off your coolant if necessary. If a significant amount of coolant was lost during the replacement, make sure to check the coolant level once the engine has cooled down. Clear Codes (if applicable): If your car's engine management system has a diagnostic code for the sensor, make sure to clear the code using an OBD-II scanner after replacing the sensor.

Probably or bad radiator cap - might be dirty and leaving an open system (OEM cap and clean fluid is our best suggestion ) clean fluid is vital.

Beim entlüften muß die Heizung auf HI oder maximum stehen. Es kann auch sein, daß an den Schläuchen, die in den Innenraum zur Heizung führen noch ein Ventil zum entlüften ist.
