I'd love to see an on the water review once you get it going. I have a deep V 18' boat that I'm contemplating installing a Force trolling motor on and I'd like to see how yours performs. Particularly the top speed. Thanks!

That will be the next video. We took it to Shaver Lake to try it out. It was well into the water but it was also calm. Spot lock and heading hold worked well, but spot lock can cause it to reverse to hold in place at first. It moves quickly (almost 4 mph) at full speed. We adjusted the gain, lowered it, to not have as much counter gain.

We finally got on the water, Shaver and Pyramid Lake, and did some trolling. Spot lock is great, but at times it is not responding fast enough for me. I am sure part of it is operator error! :)
