I kept trying to make the T shape for hours but the arch keeps getting spinned out of place and my fingers can’t seem to hold it back. It ends up being unsymmetrical. Any tips? I even tried using thinner wire.

hello, I am super new to this but wanna give this a try, looks so good!!! may I ask what are the different tools/types of pliers that you used? :)

You can search the key words"jewelry pliers" on Amazon and eBay.

You will need Jewelry type not wood working type of: Nose Pliers - making bends in wire, or holding it straight. Bent Nose Pliers - Angled pliers for those hard to get to areas. Flush Cut Pliers or Wire Cutters - Cuts wire close to edge Round Nose Pliers - Makes loops and is very useful for reshaping curves and loops. Nylon Jaw Pliers - has a soft nylon pad on either side that you glide on wires to take out kinks and straighten it out again. Also useful for holding on to pieces without leaving metal marks on delicate pieces. Get a good quality one like Beadsmith brand where you can get replacement nylon pads (that screw in) when the old ones get worn out. Don't buy cheap Chinese tools. Quality counts. Make sure you select jewelry tools not wood tools as they are more precise and smaller for making jewelry. Wood tools are large, rough and will damage pieces.

Did you use dead soft or half-hard wire ? Also, may you please include wire measurements next time ? @SuzyWongStudio #SuzyWongStudio

Soft is ok. Half-hard should be better. There are wire measurements in the video.

You can change the playaback speed to make it slowly.
@mjremy2605

Change speed to 25 or 50 to understand the technique. Watch Lily Tree to also understand technique. This is a pretty basic design. If she went any slower, the rest of us would have to speed it up. Watch video fast and slow several times for it to sink in. Once you understand one technique, all others become easy.
