You don't sand a floor with a angle grinder. But you grind edges, in the industrial sense of epoxy over lays, with a 7" hand grinder with a shroud that that is made for the application. I used them for seven years, we also polish concrete with them as well. 12 seg diamond cups or 24 seg diamond cups. But for the big parts of the floor we used diamatic 780 pro. A planetary grinder. This dust shroud would never be used in cutting metal because fire still happens in a vacuum and the filters are flamable. But with concrete it is a MUST silica is dangerous and causes painful silicosis.

Easy just use a clear plastic
@TheBurnknight
@TheBurnknight 2 жыл бұрын
@General Pershing what are you talking about??? That orange plastic is only orange cause they mix in orange pigment... The pigment has no structural benefits what so ever. Generally though plastic like what is used in plumbing , is colour coded so it will be easy to tell apart from other things , for example when a pipe is dug up from the ground. At least that is a practice in Europe , no clue about the us.
@bobcougar77
@bobcougar77 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheBurnknight my science degree expired last week but I think he means that clear "plastic" is usually acrylic which is hard and brittle. While the orange thing pictures here looks like PVC. I've personally never seen clear PVC. I suspect it's an unavoidable tradeoff to be "clear" it must be hard/brittle so that it doesn't scratch and become opaque.

@@bobcougar77 PP (polypropylene) is pretty flexible and transparent at the same time (Same as polyethylene used to make water bottles, but i agree it's gonna be scratched easily, although there is one type of plastic that is not brittle and transparent at the same time - tritan, they use it in blenders sometimes)
